I don't see that achievement is the word success. sometimes things are no longer achievable. Achievement is a hope for me. To continue doing things even though it looks not achievable in time but still there's hope,its still success and achievement. It transcends the mere evidences in life.

I try to do my best to steer young people in the right direction. Some of them don't want to even hear what I am trying to tell them so I go to others and am happy if one of them listens. I would be a happy camper if I could reach more young people.

I am planning for the senior year of my middle child Jordyn. Jordy is a 3.985 gpa twenty first century scholar student and a 4 year track athlete as well. She will graduate this May with high academic honors diploma from sullivan high school and go to Franklin or Grace college in the fall. What an achievement Thank you Lord for mercy and grace everyday for her and my other two teenage children.

In Maaori, the native tongue of New Zealand, the word for values is 'pumanawa'. Pu = centre, core, cause, stump, heart, foundation. Manawa = heart. As you know, we all live out of our values, whether good or bad. Those that are contrary to being 'tika' or 'true', manifest through emotional pain and destructive behaviours. These values are sown into us at an early age and eventually bear fruit. The fruit tree is an excellent picture of this.
