This is a photo of my little girl, Ella as she goes through the motions of learning how to ride a bike . Faced with her fears, she rests in the thought that Dad is there to help her. And with that thought she gets her strength and her confidence. Here's to her dad and all the dads who take the time to be one!

My 3 year old daughter with down syndrome Jacqui West cheering for her achievement of walking down to get her certificate at her Early Head Start Graduation. Jacqui didnt walk until 33 months and we are all so proud of her ambition to be like the other kids in her playgroup.Mommy filled with love and tears. One of my best days ever!

My brother is taking a trip around the world. He will be gone for nine months, and he will be alone. This picture was taken April 8, 2010 at the airport. You can follow him on Facebook - Around the World in GR80 Days. It takes a lot of courage and confidence in oneself to do what he's doing.
