06 NOMINATE YOUR HERO PROGRAM
Communities & Schools

Want to promote values in your community or school? We’ve found a great way to do this is to host a “nominate your hero” program. Local community members, parents, children, students, teachers, etc. are nominated by their colleagues for exemplifying one or more of the fifty-two values promoted by The Foundation for a Better Life (www.values.com). This program unites the community as all are encouraged to look for the good deeds that their friends, co-workers and families are doing. In addition, holding an “awards ceremony” at the end of the allotted time provides recognition for both the nominated and the nominators, furthering a sense of community and solidarity. You could even take it a step further and Create A Billboard for those who have been nominated.

For more information on what this program might look like in your community, contact Brooke Nord today!
