I was a white young teenager living in CA when Mr. King gave this speech. I really didn't pay much attention to it at the time, but now I think about it a lot. I especially like the quote "Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, we are free at last". To me, it applies to personal obstacles that I will one day be free of. And sometimes at the end of a hard day's work, I think of it :)
