This quote is really fantastic. For anyone going through a particularly difficult time in their life it bespeaks of the fact that all things must pass. I think Frost, in this remark, reflects a famous yiddish proverb: "If you're going through hell, keep going." Later in his life Frost said that if he could sum up life, with all of its highs and lows, it would be these three words: "it goes on." Frost was a true American hero and his life's work is an anthology of encouragement and self-reflection.
