Based on a true story, this poignant moment in a concert hall reminds us how even the most embarrassing situations can be turned around with a little patience and Encouragement.

Pianist: Great job!

What a great "feel good" moment! When I first saw this piece three or four years ago, it brought laughter and tears of joy. It still does...
There are so many bad commercials that when a really good one is made, it really stands out. The Mean Joe Green Coke commercial was my favorite from the time it was made in 1980 but this one easily beat it out. I have shared it with many others who feel the same. Thank you and keep up the good work!

People love this ad and so do I. However it is based on a story that seems to periodically make its rounds on the Internet. This story originated with just a mother and a child playing Chopsticks which quite frankly is much more "annoying" than Twinkle, Twinkle. The great pianist Pader Is reminds us of - well, everything that has been said here. Many different things, but the end result is good from seemingly a less than desirable situation.

My experience with a famous musician is awesome. I became a fan of a band, found two members online and befriended the guitarist. He is amazing, no "im better than you" ego, he's funny, and makes great sounds on guitar. Met him at a gig. He's even gone far enough as to call me a couple times recently.
Where is he? Finland. I rarely get to see him, but he gives me the best gift of all, friendship with some encouragement in my own guitar learning.

Rhonda almost 3 years ago from Georgia
As a pianist myself, his reminds me so much of the magnificent pianist who was my childhood inspiration. It also reminds me of attending a Kenny G concert with my then 8-year old son. We had stepped out to buy him a Kenny G t-shirt, which he put on right then. When we came back into the concert hall, it was totally dark. Kenny G emerged from the darkness standing right in front of my son, face-to-face, playing his saxophone. My son was mesmerized. Kenny G took notice of that and continued to play for 2 or 3 minutes. My son took up sax lessons, first using my father's tenor sax that he played in the Navy band in WWII, then learned to play the soprano sax Kenny G most frequently plays. It was a life-changing experience for him - one he will never forget!
Bravo for encouragement and inspiration! Keep up the great work!

A very heart warming video, I believe we should all encourage our children to be their best and to share that when ever and where ever possible.

George Sinzer almost 3 years ago from New York
My experience with a celebrity was less heart-warming.
For my 16th birthday, my twin brother, our older sister and her then-boyfriend were given front row seats at a Neal Diamond concert. Billed with Neal Diamond was Sandy Baron, a stand-up comedian.
While were were trying to get the seating arrangement straightened out, Sandy Baron deviated from his routine and tried to get all of us on stage. When we found our seats, I was the last one standing. Against my better judgment, I was talked into climbing on the stage where I discovered that Mr.Baron recruited stooges from the audience. It was a truly humiliating experience.
Fortunately, I didn't suffer permanent emotional trauma!
I eventually became a semi-professional musician... and left any prospects of stand-up comedy behind me.

This hit close to home, considering my parents put me in piano lessons at the age of 5, after I sat down at my grandmother's piano and played Twinkle Twinkle by ear. :) I started writing music by age 10 and it's a passion I'm so glad they initially guided me towards. :)

I clicked on concert (encouragement).
There is a boy who was playing the piano roughly at some audiences. Then suddenly a guy appeared and made fantastic performance with the boy.
That's really impressive!!
That touched my heart.

GREAT, I must admit I felt a tear in my eyes. This is how children should be encouraged at this age. I just saw this great ad on CNN and I immediately surfed in here. Thanks.

I loved this commercial, and I would like to know more about the true story that inspired it. Who was the child? When did this happen? What happened after that? How has this experience changed the child's life?
