My bf told me about this sign. It actually is about five minutes away from my apartment in Chico, CA. I asked my friend and caregiver to drive me over there and if he would take a picture. As the billboard came into view as we drove up the street I felt a sense of comfort, hope, and excitement. These are not emotions that I experience a lot these days after living with Parkinson's Disease for eight years. I have always liked Michael J. Fox as an actor and now as a role model. It brings tears of joy to my eyes to see the billboard. Thank you Michael for all the hard work you've done to help find a cure. You are the best in my eyes!! Thank you to the people that made this billboard possible - I hope it will bring awareness to the disease and finding a cure to people that are unaware and bring the hope and comfort to others that suffer from a chronic illness such as I do. Yes this billboard has me very excited and happy!
