A vida é uma caixa de surpresa, com preparação nada é fácil, sem ela menos ainda. Life is a box of surprise, nothing is easy to prepare, without her even less.

For me, preparation is a series of habits . A habit of checking everything, shoes tied, pen in pocket, cell phone and web book charged... that sort of thing. Those habits allow me to leave the house knowing that whatever may befall me, I am as prepared as may be to face it. Preparation is being honest with ones self about what the worst may be, learning how to counter the worst and setting habits to meet those possibilities which allows one to move on into the day with a clear mind, and work towards the best.
