Everyday Hero: Marcus T.

Marcus is a neighbor I am just coming to know. I am immediately drawn to this man not because of his disability (he is a quadriplegic) but because of this many positive character traits. He is a man who appreciates life and inspires me to be the best that I can be. He uses his mind to learn daily and has independence despite his situation. This man is true hero each time I get to be by his side. I have always come away from him feeling as if the impossible can be achieved if I just believe in myself! It amazes me how he can pick me up and inspire me so! Marcus loves life and does not spend any time feeling sorry for himself. He is truly a hero for us all!
