Your Everyday Hero: Steve V.

I never ever thought my dad would be a hero to me, but he is now. See this week we found out he has cancer. But that is just part of my story. I never liked my dad. I feel like I wished his cancer on him. I have Autism and a lot of other problems. I love to ride my horse and do gymnastics. I thought my dad never really understood me and my problems. But a few nights ago I asked my dad a huge favor, and he said yes. Then I realized that he bought me my horse and he pays for my gymnastics lessons. And he really does care for me and I really do care for him ALOT! Now he's my hero because he's living with cancer. And he just lives with it. He still happy and normal.
