Your Everyday Hero: Aladi J.

My hero is my aunt. She took care of me from the time when I was nine months old. She died on the recently after a prolonged illness. She was my best friend and confidant. Her life of love and sacrifice for others around her, even in the midst of scarcity and lack, has taught me to love, sacrifice for and respect others deeply. I miss her greatly.
