Mr. Pema

My dad, my hero. He will always be my hero, not only because he is my dad but also because he has been my pioneer in many things that I do now. He is in fact my backbone and my reason of survival.

I called him the other day to inform him that I would be coming home for the New Year festival. He was kind of worried because I had not called him for some days. At the end of our conversation, he wanted to know with whom I would come. He meant to ask if I had any friend coming with me, maybe because I have to travel the two long hours.

My dad may not be the best person in this world but to me he is definitely an angel. He never told me anything that might have made me feel bad or worse.

We have been good friends over the past two decades and despite our age gap, we still remain the best buddies. He is my hero because he knows best how to make me a good person. I love my dad.

Pretty cool, Oralee. I like the idea that you gave the portion of your salary that you didn't need personally to those kids. Those kids will remember you for a long time to come. I will too.
