Who Is Your Hero?

Do you have a personal hero? Tell us about them. It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference in someone else’s life.

Your Everyday Hero: June And Grad W.

This couple is in their mid 70's and work together for good like the wings of a beautiful bird in flight. Whichever one is involved in a project, the other is there to help. Together they've been taking care of a hospice patient for over two years. They care for any stray animal that crosses their path, not only food but medical costs. June runs the elections board for our town, and Grad is organist for church. They clean refuse from the sides of the highway as well as being officers in the Elks, Lyons, Knights of Columbus and the VFW. They're awesome people. I'd dearly love to see them have some kind of recognition for all they do for the world in which we live.
