Your Everyday Hero: Patrick D.

Throughout all my life my father, Patrick, has taught me to share whatever I have with others. Even through family death and bankruptcy, he never changed his character. Every time my friends visit the house, my father is always the first to offer them gifts or help. While Patrick doesn't have much, he enjoys what is in front of him. I have learned from him that if I can't appreciate what I have at this very second, I'll never be fully happy in the longer term. The neighbors are almost afraid to go on holiday in case Dad decides to paint their fences or build a sunroom just because he enjoys helping others! He already has!
