Who Is Your Hero?

Do you have a personal hero? Tell us about them. It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference in someone else’s life.

Your Everyday Hero: Cindy H.

Cindy is a mother of two deaf children who were diagnosed with a disease that causes them to have seizures. So along with caring for her two children she takes the time out of her day to run a club that helps women and children in distress along with being the deaf and hard-of-hearing. While not volunteering for them, she dedicates her time to and mentors high schoolers who volunteer with that organization. She serves as a great mentor. Cindy gives us the strength and support we need to get through school and help other.
