You have much to be grateful for. Your mother is truly a hero and it is obvious that she is truly loved. I do not think a mother could ask for more.

Your Everyday Hero: Barbara B.

My mother is my greatest hero! In 2000 she was diagnosed with metastasis cancer and told by her oncologist that she wouldn't see the end of the year. I was 16 and an awful teenager at the time. Not only did she straighten me out, but she still fights cancer to this very day. Emotionally and physically, she is the strongest person that I know. No matter how much pain she is in, she won't stop living her life. There have only been a few times that I have actually seen her upset by the cancer. She tries hard to keep her spirit soaring and away from depression. She is an incredible women and a blessing in my life.
