Judge Kathleen V. is more than just a judge overseeing a drug court for juveniles with substance abuse issues. She inspires confidence in kids who have little in the way of family support - she is cheerleader to those who succeed - she is genuine in her concern and commitment to helping kids live a healthy and drug free life. She is in many ways a teacher - showing kids that someone believes in them - even when the world has turned on them. She never gives up on a kid. And in return, she sees amazing success in the lives she touches. She goes beyond the call of duty because she cares so much. She is an inspiration to all of us who see her work, and consider ourselves blessed just to know her. She touches all of our lives without effort.
