Who Is Your Hero?

Do you have a personal hero? Tell us about them. It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference in someone else’s life.

Your Everyday Hero: Eunice Kennedy Shriver

One of my biggest heroes is the founder of the Special Olympics. Her family, and the world, lost this beautiful soul this year. Her story has been told, published, and shared. I do not believe I have the ability to express just what she did for individuals with disabilities, their families, and the rest of us that have been granted to opportunity to share their gifts in thanks to her. It is my hope that this suggestion may lead to a billboard in her honor.
