Your Everyday Hero: Juana Betty Z.

My mother was and still is my hero. She came to the USA because she believed in the American dream. She worked hard day and night to give us, her six children, the life she could only dream of. She taught us to love and forgive and to never give up! She would help anyone that needed help by giving them a smile, a word of encouragement, or food and her friendship. She faced every challenge with hope and a positive attitude. She died young (46 yrs) but her legacy and love changed my life for ever! Thanks mom, for being the best friend and role model I ever had!
