Your Everyday Hero: Ben P.

I am writing to you about one of the most amazing people I have ever met. He's saved my life (in a different way). For the last few months I have been suffering from a horrible anxiety disorder, was given the wrong medication and was hospitalized. Through that time I had horrible suicidal thoughts caused by the withdrawal of this medication and became extremely depressed. Ben has been there for me since day one. Not only has he lost his best friend to suicide, lost his dog, and has had the worst luck I have ever seen, he has always managed to keep me motivated to get better and overcome my disorder. I have been on and off of so many medications that numb me to any feelings or emotions for anybody or anything, but even then Ben knew I needed him and stood by my side. He just recently built a shop on some acreage in the country and with the disastrous weather we have had lately, his shop was severely damaged by fallen trees. Even then he kept on going. Ben has been a true inspiration to me and my hero. I do not know what I would do without him. I care about him more than anything and hope good luck comes his way.
