Share A Hero Story NowAnnie Jolliffe is my girlfriend. And she is the strongest, most compassionate, nice and beautiful person in the entire universe. She loves me for me, and makes me feel better about myself no matter what. She's my hero not only for being strong, and surviving through her entire life, as hard as it was. Not only for being so caring and kind of a person that she'd probably give you the shirt off of her back if she just met you. Or even for being just the most perfect, beautiful, and wonderful person in the world in helping me through all of my weak moments. No she's my hero for so much more.
You see, throughout most of my life, I was abused, yelled at, and emotionally scarred. So much so that I couldn't cry, couldn't feel, and at a point in my life, I believed that all of humanity was nothing but scum. I couldn't love, I couldn't emote, and I thought I was psychotic.
But then I met Annie and after proving me wrong, teaching me that I have emotions, that I do care, that I can love and be loved. She showed me that I'm not a gigantic emotionless blob who everyone hates, that I am a good person, that I can love, cry, and feel. But that again is not why shes my hero, she's ultimately my hero for loving me, and being there for me when I needed her most, for always being there no matter what, and for allowing me to love her.
I really do by definition love her, and am madly in love with her. And she taught me that there really is someone out there for everyone, and I'm glad I found her. And that is why my girlfriend, Annie Judith Jolliffe is my hero.
