Your Everyday Hero: Gloria C.

First off, I want to say I looked at the values that best described my hero, to be honest I think they all fit her. My hero happens to be my mother, the most beautiful woman I have ever met, and a genuine angel. My Father passed away when I was just 10 months old. This was way before anybody talked about being a single parent. This beautiful woman raised 6 kids by herself on a teachers salary. She always put her children first. She was at every event that the school put on. She is my hero because she always taught me to live, love, and laugh no matter what life threw at you. Now it's my turn to take care of her. She always says, "My grown son shouldn't take care of me". All I say is I love you Mom and you took care of me for the first 17 years of my life, it's the least I can do for the most beautiful woman I know. Of course she always tells me I'm blind, but she taught me that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
