Your Everyday Hero: Astrid L.

She wrote the stories I grew up with: Pippi Longstocking, Mio My Mio and the character I was always compared to, the precocious Emil. Astrid Lindgren was a genius in her ability to convey a simple life that was anything but simple, teaching generations of children what it meant to be good, live good and do good.
