Your Everyday Hero: Anastasia H.

My mom has been through everything awful that you could possibly imagine happening in life. As a child growing-up she endured many challenges within her family, school and community. She and my dad got married then and had my brother before my mom was even 20. They were low on money and had a little house in the neighborhood where I was born. My mom stuck with herself and the family after everything she's been through in her life. When things went wrong, she didn't run. When she couldn't handle it, she kept moving forward. When she felt the world was falling on her, she lifted it up. That's why MY mom is a hero.
