Your Everyday Hero: Colin P.

Colin Powell grew up in the Bronx. He ended up going to college where he found his true calling in the the U.S. Army. In time, he became the first Black man to become Staff Chief of Joints and Secretary of State. Nobody in his family thought he would amount to much because of his attitude, but he proved them wrong.
