Your Everyday Hero: David L.

My father died of lung, brain, and adrenal gland cancer. He battled an addiction to alcohol. He endured abuse from his adopted mother and father. He had one divorce, married my mother, and had two children. He quit drinking when we were young and tried to do everything he could do as a father.
