Who Is Your Hero?

Your Everyday Hero: Rowland H.

I would like to nominate my dad as my hero. He is the best dad anyone could ask for. He is currently in his third year of remission from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. He battled the disease off and on for three years undergoing many tests, chemotherapy, radiation and a bone marrow transplant. During the entire time he kept his spirits up and enjoyed his family and friends. When the doctors and nurses came into do tests or check on him, he always asked how they were. He always puts others first. After I had a baby six months ago, he always makes time to give me a hug and words of encouragement. He is my hero and I love him with every fiber of my being.
