Who Is Your Hero?

Your Everyday Hero: Leo M.

My hero is Leo Messi. Leo Messi is a striker for F.C. Barcelona who at the age of twenty has accomplished so much despite being diagnosed with disabilities as a child. Overcoming obstacles and exceeding expectations, Leo Messi has taken the soccer world by storm. Knowing from experience how difficult children’s lives can be when they suffer from disabilities and poverty he started the Leo Messi Foundation and became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to make sure children don’t have to go through what he did. Leo Messi is regarded as a humble and down to earth young man who believes he would be nowhere without his teammates, friends and family. He has overcome walls and hurdles to get to where he is and he is a shinning example to everybody who has ever been told, “You are never going to be able to do that.” Leo Messi is my hero.
