Your Everyday Hero: Charles C.

My hero is my Grandfather. He was by far the sweetest man I have ever known, and would do anything to protect his family. He served in WWII and in the Korean War with the Navy, and he never stopped believing in me, (even when everyone else in my life had). He passed on in January of 2009, and every year on his birthday I light a candle as soon as I wake up, and let it burn until I go to sleep. He taught me how to be a man, how to be a gentleman, but most importantly he taught me how to be me.
