WOW Charlie is so inspirational, he shows that you don't have to be an adult to make a difference!

At 15 years of living you have managed to focus well beyond your peers. To all whom feel the beacon of light that one spirit-filled 15 year old is shining so bright: hope, love, kindness, care and faith are brought forth and received within the BEAM of your light.

It is great to be generous and feel the pain of others rather thinking of our own. I am happy that Charlie is showing another picture!

Your Everyday Hero: Charlie B.

My hero is my friend Charlie, a 15-year-old from South Carolina. To me, there is nothing more inspiring than a young person giving boxes of clothes to the needy, while having barely any himself.

Charlie has dedicated his life to clothing the poor. He has given almost all of his clothes away, keeping the bare minimum for himself. He has made countless trips to the bus station in Columbia, sometimes on foot, to hand out clothing items to homeless strangers. The clothes he gives out are his personal donation, or items he has worked hard to gather from friends, family and his church.

I am sharing Charlie's story because although he gives and gives, he has never received recognition and I want others to hear of and be inspired, like I am, by his generosity.
