Your hero is a saint...Bless her. I work with children that have Autism and it is not easy. Your hero is truly an inspiration to me!

Your Everyday Hero: Christiane D.

My roommate Christy recently gave up her high-paying position to dedicate her time to care for an 8-year-old boy with Autism. He is an adorable boy with a heart of gold, but definitely a challenge at times! Christy has nothing but patience with him and because of her efforts he has made amazing advances socially as well as developmentally. Christy has constantly put his needs before her own...Beginning with her decision to leave her job to make time for his care. I think the most positive effect to come from her time with him is the fabulous friends that he has been able to make through this process!
