Jeffrey Norman

My hero is my husband, Jeffrey. Last year I was diagnosed with cervical precancer. He held my hand every step of the way. From the doctor appointments to the laser surgery, he literally held my hand. Two months later I was diagnosed with the infertility disease of diminished ovarian reserve. Again he held my hand as we were told by specialist after specialist that my chances of ever getting pregnant was very very low. At one point I was told there was no chance. All my life I dreamed of being a mom. I choose to be a teacher because of that. We knew each other 7 years before getting married, I married my best friend. We saved and bought a house with extra bedrooms, near parks and a good school for our future children. This news was devastating to us both. I sunk into a hole of depression. He picked me up and held me up when I couldn't stand on my own. He researched and worked tons of overtime so we could afford to go to the best fertility specialist. He has gone to every single appointment with me and still holds my hand and gives me, us encouragement. He drives me three hours one way to the specialist, some times three days a week. We now have two frozen embryo babies and working towards being able to hold our babies one day as I continue with treatment. My husband is not just my hero, he is my other half.
