Your Everyday Hero: Matt B.

Matt was an athlete, brother, friend, son, student, an all around great person, and my boyfriend whom I was in love with. He had earned his varsity letter in 4 different sports. Although he was an athlete, he was kind to anyone and everyone. When my boyfriend Matt passed away, one comment left on the memorial wall at my high school was "Matt was the reason I came to school everyday. He said hi to me regardless of my popularity status." Not only does this say something about the person Matt was, but it inspired me to become more like him. I look at his life, and I feel like he taught me so much, he taught me how to be a better person. Rest in peace, Matt B.
