Your Everyday Hero: Oscar N.

My father was the most admirable man I have ever known. He never criticized anything or anyone, never raised his voice, always inspired and uplifted. He saw the positive in everybody and everything.

When I got into trouble as a kid, he would sit me down and talk to me to hear my version of the story and then we would discuss if the choices were favorable or not and what the consequences of my actions could have on others. Those talks inspired me to grow, and I now share them with my son and many others.

To this day, when faced with adversity, I always try to think of those chats, and what Daddy would have done.
