Your Everyday Hero: Con C.

My father is my hero. My father is the most caring, loyal, compassionate person that I have ever met. Several years ago he found out he has arthritis in his knees, which prevents him from doing many things. Then a few years later his hips started bothering him. He says that for seven years there has not been one minute where he hasn't been in some sort of pain. He is limited in the job area because there isn't a lot he can do physically. He is working though, and always puts on a good front. My father's always taken care of his children and wife. He always makes sure that our needs (even if minor) are taken care of above his own. He is the hardest worker that I've ever seen, and has so much love in his hard for everyone around him.

He helps me to keep faith and believe that things will get better. Like everyone, my husband and I have trials we go through, but seeing my father overcome his and his determination not to give up helps us to be strong and keep the faith. I'm eternally grateful for such a wonderful, amazing father.
