Do you have a personal hero? Tell us about them. It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference in someone else’s life.
Share A Hero Story NowMy hero is my husband Ryan. He is my best friend.
We have been together for over 8 years and we also have been apart for a long time because we lived on two different continents before we got married. Ryan is the most wonderful person I have ever met. He is always very committed to what he does – at work and at home.
People like to be around Ryan because of his amazing personality. He is very caring and generous. He is incredibly kind and patient. He respects me and makes me believe in myself. He is a bundle of positive energy. I feel peaceful, comfortable and safe when he is around.
Ryan gave me strength when I faced a long lasting treatment due to health issues, he has been on my side giving hope and support. I can learn a lot from him. I wish I could give back at least some of what he gave me. I want to become a better person, because Ryan shows me every day what a good person is. He makes me so incredibly happy. I appreciate every day we spend together. I am so lucky.

How encouraging....My husband lives in PA and I live in CA. We are spending the first year of our marriage long distance until my daughter is situated at college in the fall. You both sound like wonderful individuals. I know my Andy is my hero too. Thanks for sharing your Hero.

I think this is beautiful! And I agree that Ryan is so kind and generous - and he most definitely has a way of making people feel good about themselves - a true and rare gift! I am also lucky and blessed to have him in my life! I think it's also beautiful that his wife did this - she's pretty AMAZING herself :)
