My hero is my father, he struggled so hard to make sure myself and my younger ones had the best education he could afford. When I look back now, I thank God for his life for making us go through school even to masters level.

My true hero is my grandmother. She starts to work when she was seven years old because they were poor, her mom sold flowers, she helped her mom everyday and she went to school at night.

Your Everyday Hero: Elizabeth G.

My grandmother, Elizabeth, is my hero. She has taught me to never give up on my dreams or myself and has always been there for me when times have been tough.

As my husband and I continue our journey to try once again to become parents, I am inspired and motivated by the dedication she had in this same process. My grandmother finally became a mother after five miscarriages. She inspires me and gives me hope each day.
