My mother's father (not "Grandpa," but "Boppa")is turning 81 in a month. He's been a farmer his entire life, and thinks nothing of lifting bales, laying irrigation pipe, or rolling under a machine to fix it. Rain or shine, he gets up early, has breakfast, and goes out to do the day's work. He's never thought of slowing down: Five years ago he bought a fancy new pickup for himself - after having quadruple bypass surgery. I hope I can depend on him for many more years.

Now that is a heartwarming story. Wish we all would work like that as that is also what keeps my Father going as he never stops and is fixing to turn 83. Our generation needs to pick up speed as farming is the hardest job there is. Think I'll get busy getting my garage clean.
