A Simple Dollar

My mother and I were at my brothers middle school waiting for him in the parking lot, he was at a basketball game. A few girls were at a vending machine and I'm assuming the machine took their dollar. In an effort to get their snack they were banging and shaking the machine. Many adults walked by and looked at the girls as if they were trouble makers. No one stopped unless they were staring in astonishment. After about twenty minutes I decided to help. I got out of the car, walked over and asked if they needed help. I figured I could use my dollar so the machine could drop their snack and mine. Well, the snack they wanted was the only one left on the row, but I used my dollar anyway. I did not ask them to repay me, it was just good to help!
