Blood Donation

I had gone to donate blood for an emergency surgery. The person who called me asking for blood was actually a friend of the patient. He told me that he was having a very tough time in getting donors as the blood group was a rare type. Later, he confessed that he has never given blood and on seeing the need, he promised that he will start donating immediately. He also promised that he will stop consuming alcohol straightaway, so that whenever there is an emergency, the consumption of alcohol does not act as a hindrance. I had no words to say, I am happy that my act has changed someone to be a “LIFE SAVER”.
