Many years ago I was playing a co-ed soft ball game. It was a rainy day the game was all tied up in the 7th inning. When the first batter got up and hit a double the second batter hit a single. So there was a female on second and a male on first. The next batter hit a fly ball to the outfield the right fielder caught the ball. The girl on second was trying to get to home base. When she was rounding third base the left fielder threw the ball to home. The ball ended up hitting the girl in the back of her head. She fell to the ground right away. I ran up to her to see if she was alright, her eyes were all watery. I ended up pulling myself out of the game and took her to the hospital.
