You Are Not Alone

Matthew, my little brother, went to a boyscout camp for about a week. He had lots of friends there already so he was having a lot of fun. However, he saw a kid, one he had previously known from one of his baseball teams. The kid was just a few feet from Matthew. Standing by himself he said, "I'm all alone." My brother overhearing this went up to him and tapped his shoulder. He said, "You are not alone. I'm your friend." Unfortunately the kid didn't recognize him at first and he was like, "Who are you?" It took him a while to figure out that Matthew was his teammate; since then, though, they have hung out and become good friends.
