Courage

I am an author of several Poetry Books titled "Poetic Journey", "Journey of Thoughts," and "Journey Within".

Our poetry is written for all ages, especially our youth. Our poems encourage constructive thinking, teach values and lessons, and demonstrate positive reactions to different emotions all in a rhyming fashion. I would like to share the following poem.

Courage

What kind of courage
Do you have
Do you have the courage cry
And the courage to laugh

What about the courage
To do right than wrong
And when things get hard
Can you stay strong

Now courage comes out
In many different forms
Like keeping morals
And not going with the norm

Like keeping your faith
When all seems lost
And respecting your elders
At all cost

And the best kind of courage
That you can obtain
Is to respect yourself
And treat people the same

With love and kindness
And with some compassion
Find your strength in courage
That’s all I’m asking
