Do you have a good values-based story to tell? It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference in someone else’s life.
Share A Story NowI was a self-conscious seventeen year old girl with stringy hair and fifty pounds of extra weight. One night, my parents dragged me along to a party filled with "beautiful people". I felt dumpy and awkward amid the sophisticated guests. I wanted to hide. I looked around the room...the only place left to sit was next to the most beautiful woman in the room. The kind of person I wished I was. She was in her thirties, classy and glamorous - wearing an elegant hat with a feather on a ribbon band. As the night wore on, she received many complements on her lovely hat. She replied "Thank you, I just bought it today!". I shyly told her "I like it too". As I was leaving at the end of the night, the beautiful woman made her way to me, and handed her hat to me and said "I want you to have this" with a kind smile. It meant so much to me...Her act of kindness changed my life.
