"What is a True Friend?"

What is a "true " friend ? A "true" friend is someone that has the same "values" as you do. And for me , it is "love" of family and children. Not just saying "I love you " but showing the "light of love "everyday. A "true" friend also does for others and can be "counted upon" if you ever need help. Some people say they have" friends" and consider themselves "friends" but they maybe just "acquaintances" or "good contacts" because they have influence in the world,but these "contacts" may not be "true" friends. I guess we may have known this before, but sometimes we don't realize it until we lose a "special and true" friend. There are people in the world that are "good contacts" but only think of themselves and have "no room in their lives" to help others and can't be" depended upon " to help others. However, I am "truly thankful for the "true friends" in my life that care about family, children, helping others and would be there for you if you needed help and not "asking" for themselves. I am "truly " thankful " for my "true "friends here on earth and my "true" friend that passed on to heaven recently.Take time to appreciate your "true" friends before they "pass on". However , the memories of your "true" friends and your friendship with them is always with you until you are "true" friends again in heaven!
