Do you have a good values-based story to tell? It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference in someone else’s life.
Share A Story NowIn 1992 in Alaska my husband and I struggled to attend school, pay bills, learn to live with limited physical movement, and feed our son. Life was hard. And the winter made life even harder.
In the middle of the night, in a small town in Alaska our car's transmission gave out. We had just arrived from Anchorage and were attempting to make it home to our cabin 15 miles away. No phone available and no such thing as a cell phone. We were stuck, broke down, cold, and tired.
Out of the night came a young man in a battered old pick-up truck. He pulled up along side our stranded vehicle. He quickly jumped out and hollered 'do you need a tow?' My husband sprung into action and the two of them hooked the two vehicles together. The young man asked 'Where do you want to go?' My husband told him the directions to a friend's house and off he went towing us.
When he dropped us off at our friend's house he shouted 'I hope everything's okay!' and off he went. As he drove out of sight I asked my husband if he got that kid's name. He said he hadn't. That night we talked several hours with our friends and compliment that young man for helping us out.
We never saw that young man again, and Wasilla is a small town. My husband and I are positive that a young angel was sent to us to help us when we needed it most.

Your story stirred me so much. I believe there are angels all around us waiting to help those in need when they need it most.
