Do you have a good values-based story to tell? It doesn’t have to be perfect to make a difference in someone else’s life.
Share A Story NowToday I was out shopping with my mom at a store. While a lady in front of us in the checkout line, I spied a kid that looked 2 years younger than me. He was trying to get some gum but probably was out of money, because he just stared at the dispenser with sad eyes.
When my mom and I were walking out the store, I turned back around to the kid and gave him a quarter and said "Buy yourself some gum" and I ran back to my mom. After I gave him the money there was a feeling in my stomach that said "Giving is better than getting."

This is a heartfelt story. It brings me joy that kids in America still look after each other.

Great story. There is no other way to attain the feeling that you felt at that moment. A random act of kindness can leave an indelible mark on the soul of another person. Good for you.

I love gum too and when I don't have money for gum I get sad. If I see a child in that situation I would be happy to give them money for gum. It's better to give than to get.

This is a great story. Thanks for sharing it but more important, thanks for spreading an act of kindness. It is people like you that make this world a better place for the rest of us. How many adults would have acted in a similar manner?

That is very cool. Every time you go above and beyond to do something good it will come back to you when you least expect it. It is kind of like giving your self a present that will surprise you later.
