Your Everyday Hero: Sara D.

Sara got pregnant at 17 and her boyfriend left her the second she told him the news. She decided she didn't want someone like that around to father a child anyways. Sara is now 24 and she has overcome so many obstacles. She went from being homeless with no job to having 3 jobs, her own place and a devoted mother to her son. She had to hit some really low lows, but no matter how impossible it seemed to be at that time, Sara always fought through it. She remained focused on her goal to have a home for her and her son, she is stable and has graduated from cosmetology school. She just enrolled in college to attend as a full time student, and continue to work her 3 jobs and be a good mother... I will always admire her for her selflessness and her determination to be successful day in and day out. Sara has inspired me in countless ways. I look up to her because of all the wonderful qualities she has.
