Your Everyday Hero: Sharone O.

Her name is Sharone and she is my mother. She is my hero. She became my hero gradually during my lifetime. As I grew and matured I was able to recognize all that she has done for me, sacrificed for me, and taught me. I have a great deal of gratitude for who I am because of what I learned from my mother.

When I was younger, I used to be offended when I was told, "You are just like your mother." Now, if I am given this compliment, I am so very proud.

Thank you Mom.
