Your Everyday Hero: Deanna D.

My older sister was my hero. Dee was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2008. She'd been away from the family and living on her own. It's hard to think that it takes something so drastic to bring people back together. Dee struggled but she always stayed strong. Even in the worst conditions she never let go of hope. My sister is now passed away and I'm sure dancing with Elvis in Heaven! Even til this day, she is my hero and when I'm going through hard times I remember how she kept on going. Hope. Pass it on.
